Rakesh Jain

Rakesh Jain is the Chief Architect and Manager with IBM Software Innovation Lab in San Jose CA. He is an expert in building large scale distributed systems, data platforms for foundation models, data analytics, agentic AI, storage management and high availability. He is also involved in the development of data and storage management, monitoring and analytics products, and has built several solutions using cloud-native technology. He is author of several research papers and over 26 patents and actively involved in the open source community.
