Prashant Patil

Prashant Patil is an architectural visionary, distinguished professional speaker, and lifelong learner known for his adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and leadership in cybersecurity, DevOps, and automation. After earning his Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in 2006, he began his career at AT&T as a Performance Automation Engineer, where he streamlined automation processes and earned recognition for his attention to detail and strong engineering discipline. His passion for innovation later led him to Dell Technologies, where he served as an architect designing advanced automation solutions for cloud-based microservices and helping drive Secure Software Development transformation initiatives.

Today, Prashant serves as a Product Security Architect at Siemens, where he leads Product Security and Automation efforts. He focuses on building scalable application security capabilities, aligning security tools with organizational strategy, and integrating secure development practices into CI/CD workflows. Through close collaboration with Development Solutions teams and business segment development teams, he helps strengthen security maturity, improve software delivery practices, and enable teams to build secure products more efficiently. Prashant is also a member of the Security Advisory Board at DevNetwork, where he contributes strategic guidance on security, cloud, automation, and secure software development practices. A strong advocate for psychological safety and continuous improvement, he has led cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence, security compliance, and measurable transformation.

Beyond the office, Prashant actively shares his expertise as an industry speaker on DevOps, Cybersecurity, and Automation. Outside of work, he enjoys family adventures, photography, travel, and volunteering in the community.
