Chinmay Abhay Nerurkar is a highly respected AI/ML Engineering Leader with a proven track record of driving technical excellence and product innovation with a People-First approach. He brings over 16 years of diverse experience delivering market-leading technology products across the AdTech, FinTech, and Embedded Software industries.

Chinmay is currently a Staff ML Engineer at Netflix, leading the architecture and buildout of low-latency, high-QPS distributed platforms for core ad decisioning and ML-driven optimization — as well as designing end-to-end AI/ML products for ad pacing, scoring & ranking for the Netflix Ads platform. Prior to Netflix, he served as a Principal Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to Microsoft Copilot and Bing Ads through privacy-compliant, AI/ML-based solutions across Audience & Identity and Ad Attribution & Measurement.

A passionate career mentor, Chinmay coaches engineering professionals and senior technology leaders on all-rounded growth, emphasizing inclusive team culture and a sustained drive for innovation. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a Fellow of the British Computing Society (BCS), a Senior Member of IEEE, and an at-large member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society. Chinmay holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from New York University and a BE in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai.
