Anton Angelov

Anton Angelov is Managing Director, Co-Founder, and Chief Test Automation Architect at Automate The Planet, a boutique consulting firm specializing in AI-driven test automation strategy and implementation. He is a PhD researcher at Technical University of Sofia, focused on cost-efficient AI agents for enterprise test automation, and a published researcher in hybrid metaheuristic optimization (MDPI Algorithms, 2025).
Creator of the BELLATRIX test automation framework, bestselling author of 8 books (10,000+ copies sold worldwide), and ISTQB-certified AI Testing practitioner. Anton has delivered 60+ international conference talks, produced 100+ technical videos, published 500+ articles, and leads the AI in QA Workshop Series with Dev.bg.
