Adora Nwodo

Adora Nwodo is a multi award winning Engineering Leader and Author working across cloud, AI, and developer experience. Her work focuses on building and scaling intelligent platforms, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure that power mission critical applications at global scale. She leads teams that design resilient architectures, improve developer experience, and advance AI supported engineering workflows.

Her experience spans multi cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes governance, large scale distributed systems, and the integration of AI into platform engineering. She works deeply at the intersection of engineering leadership, technical strategy, and organizational transformation, enabling engineering teams to deliver with reliability, velocity, and clarity.

Adora previously worked at Microsoft, where she contributed to foundational engineering efforts for Microsoft Mesh, a large scale communication and collaboration platform powered by cloud computing and artificial intelligence. She now applies her expertise in platform engineering at Stack Overflow, supporting engineering teams building high scale systems used by millions of developers worldwide.

Adora is a multi published author of seven technology books covering cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and AI. Her books are published by Wiley, O’Reilly, Packt, BPB, and Kogan Page, and they are referenced in academic libraries including Harvard, Princeton, Drexel, and Georgia Tech. She also teaches cloud and AI engineering through LinkedIn Learning and O’Reilly.

She is the Founder of NexaScale, a social enterprise providing simulated remote work experience to thousands of early career technologists across software engineering, product design, and product management.

Adora is a Stanford LEAD alumna and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, as well as an MSc in Computer Science with an AI specialization at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her work and thought leadership have been featured by Yahoo Finance, ChannelsTV, Business Insider Africa, TechCabal, Techpoint Africa, and other global media platforms.

Her contributions to engineering and technology advocacy have earned recognition from the Society for AI Advancement, WomenTech Network, Microsoft MVPs, Future Africa Awards, Impact Leadership Global Awards, and IATOP New York.

Adora speaks internationally on cloud engineering, AI, developer experience, platform engineering, and the future of intelligent systems, and continues to support the global developer ecosystem through writing, mentorship, education, and community programs.
